HD Girls Varsity Soccer Program Goals:Our goal is to develop well-rounded student-athletes within a safe and supportive environment. We hope to grow each athlete's soccer skills while also highlighting the importance of having strong values and excellent work ethic. We will encourage our student-athletes, coaches, and spectators to promote good sportsmanship and we will encourage our student-athletes to have high standards of performance and respect on and off the field.

Meet the Coaches:

Jenna Rheault is the Interim Head Coach of the HD Girls Varsity Soccer team and the Assistant Coach for the HD Boys and Girls Track and Field Team. She also works within the Hillsboro-Deering School District as an Occupational Therapist. Jenna was a two sport student-athlete at HD, playing Varsity soccer and softball. She graduated from St. Paul's School where she played soccer, ice hockey, and softball. Jenna continued her athletic career as a Women's Ice Hockey player at the University of New Hampshire. After college, she played Women's Professional Hockey for the Boston Pride in the Premier Hockey Federation, now known as the Professional Women's Hockey League. Jenna is proud to give back to Hillsboro-Deering Athletics and to the Hillsboro-Deering community because it is where she grew up and this community has had a huge impact on her athletic achievements. 

Hannah Murdough is the Assistant Coach of the HD Girls Varsity Soccer team and also works at the Hillsboro-Deering Elementary school as a Kindergarten teacher. Hannah was a three sport student-athlete, a Senior Captain for the HD Girls Varsity soccer program, and a 2015 graduate from Hillsboro-Deering High School. Hannah continued her soccer career at Castleton State College and Plymouth State College as a midfielder. Coach Murdough has been the Assistant Coach for the Girl's Varsity team for five years and has a wealth of knowledge to share with her student-athletes from her successful high school and collegiate careers. She is a great asset to the HD soccer program and the Hillsboro-Deering Community on and off the field.

Makayla Savoy the Head Coach of the HD Girls Varsity Soccer team and the Head Coach of the HD Boys and Girls Track and Field Team. She is on maternity leave for the Fall 2024 Soccer season. She also works as a paraeducator at the Hillsboro-Deering High School. Makayla was a two sport student-athlete, Senior Captain for the HD Varsity soccer program, and a 2014 graduate from Hillsboro-Deering High School. Makayla attended Keene State College and is currently finishing her degree in Special Education. Coach Savoy has a love for high school athletics. She has been the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Soccer team for 6 years and has been the Head Coach of the Boys and Girls Track and Field team for 4 years. Makayla is a great role model for her students, student-athletes, and assistant coaches and this community is very lucky to have her.
